It was the end of the 90's when the Addiego family decided to buy a plot of land in the countryside adjacent to the small village of Marcellina, with the intention of creating a country residence.
In the early 2000s his father Pietro built the main house, at the same time, he built the lake with adjoining gardens and ornamental plants, thus becoming a permanent home of the family. Soon the family country house, it became for friends the perfect place for Sunday lunches and dinners under the stars.
His father Pietro's great passion for fishing led him to organize in 2010, with his grown sons Marco and Alex, a series of events for lovers of sport fishing, and so it became a family business "Lago la Moretta".
Initially the activity was born as a fishing center and picnic area, hosts provincial and regional sporting events, only later in 2013, the passion for gastronomy and traditional cuisine of mother Lucia and thanks to the positive response of customers was born the restaurant, "Lago la Moretta".
